6:15AM-1:30PM:  Sportfishing
Hawaii is one of the world’s top fishing destinations and it’s the geography of the Big Island that makes Kona the sportfishing capital of the Pacific. Just three miles out of the harbor, it’s over 6000′ deep! Boats are equipped with the latest in gear and Seakeeper Roll Smoothing technology. The experienced crew will take you to the very best locations for Blue and Striped Marlin, Mahi Mahi, Yellowfin Tuna (Ahi), Wahoo (Ono), and Shortbilled Spearfish. Includes transportation, six-hour charter, tackle, lunch and crew gratuities.

7:30AM-11:00AM:   Dolphin & Turtle Snorkel Excursion
Adventure X Rafting is a fast and powerful upgraded zodiac boat that is very comfortable, providing cushioned seating, a walk-in restroom and all this on a boat that is capable of speeds of 40 MPH. First we’ll head out in search of magical spinner dolphins and majestic humpback whales before a swim/snorkel stop at a beautiful reef known for the colorful coral, variety of fish, and turtles. Snacks and drinks, snorkel gear including flotation devices and crew gratuities are included. Due to the bouncy nature of the boat ride, persons with back or neck problems or pregnant ladies are not allowed to participate.

7:55AM-2:30PM:  Kohala Waterfall Adventure
Explore the rich heritage and lush green landscape of North Kohala, a land of old sugar plantations, natural beauty, and Hawaiian legends. The excursion begins with a scenic drive through the beautiful Kohala countryside, including a four-wheel drive adventure to the trailhead. The 2-mile loop trail offers two streams with several waterfalls and three bridges, plus ancient Hawaiian terraces and flumes along the famous Kohala Ditch. This moderate hike with countryside views, a chance for a quick dip in a mountain stream with cascading falls overhead, and a stop to the historic plantation town of Hāwī, is an ideal way to experience the lush northside of the island. Includes transportation, guide, walking sticks, raingear, daypacks, insect repellent, deli lunch, water, juice drinks and sodas. This tour involves a 1-2 mile walk over uneven muddy terrain and short climbs. Not recommended for those with back/neck problems or pregnant women.

8:00AM:  Golf at Mauna Lani South
Built on a lava bed, Mauna Lani’s South Course is characterized by rolling terrain punctuated by Kiawe forests, green fairways contoured against the black lava, and major elevation changes that provide golfers with a challenging round along with breathtaking views. There are five different tee positions making it accessible to mid- and high handicappers. Includes transportation, golf club handling, shared cart, practice facility and boxed lunch.

8:00AM-3:00PM:  South Island Food Tour
The Big Island boasts so many wonderful food producers and today you’ll get to know a few of them!  This unique tour includes a visit to a coffee plantation, a bee keeping tour with Big Island Bees and a visit to the Kona Sea Salt farm. We’ll stop at the Kona Brewing Company for lunch and a beer tasting before heading back to the resort. Includes transportation, refreshments, lunch and guide gratuity.
